BTDT a few times, and when all hell begins to break loose at 4k in 6th gear and the engine pulls straight to the redline (still in 6th), then you know you have some real serious MoPhunkin horsepower :-)))))

no offense taken at all i love this information im trying to gather as much as i can from as many people since everyone has their own theory and opinion!

Im rs2 spec running 26 psi already i want MORE GODDAM POWER Sorry i want a beast i know its rediculous but i dont care im drunk i got some money finally cause i caught a leprechaun.o

Im hearing from two very good sources that you dont need to do pistons just the thicker head gasket. Arp head studs are nice but i know for a fact that dahlback is running stock audi stretch bolts on his golf.

what size turbo do you all suggest i run that wont give massive amounts of lag.
I dont wanna be like the supra **** with there turbos spooling 1k before redline and being a dyno queen? I want a broad power band through all 6 of my gears.

Default Mineah (Mihnea) HELP

Yeah, I know, I'm not Mihnea, but WTF, here is my opinion anyway.

Based on your stated spec, I'd do the following:

1. 2.6 liter stroker. They don't rev like the 2.2's, but they will push a larger turbo more efficiently. The only way (reasonably) that you are gonna get BIG numbers below 4,000 rpm.

2. Rods. Cody tossed his on RS2 spec. No way around it.

3. KKK-27 or 28, larger Garrett Hybrid, or a pure GT. Will support the HP you are after, without a lot of lag. Problem is potential SEVERE surge problems.

4. SQ EM. Will need some mods if you are gonna go non-kkk hotside.

5. M-5 MAF (or equivalent), large injectors.

6. Relocate the MAF, airbox, etc.

7. FMIC.

8. Fuel delivery mods.

9. Custom software. (Mihnea can do.) One of the easiest things about the set-up.

10. The 20 or so things I haven't thought about yet.

Figure $7,000 in parts, and another $5,000 in installation and getting someone to make it run.

Im going with the dahlback rods, guarenteed for life and beefy as hell 1500 bucks
780 for labor (cause i cant do this myself)

As far as the sport Q mani goes i may just make one at work me and a friend made a half *** mock up and i might go from there. Making it usable with the stromung i have already (cause i love its craftsmanship) i really dont want to move the MAF. Also is it true we can switch to the sport Q maf?

Front mount 2000 (or get off my *** and make it)

K27 hotside turbo with whatever... 800 bucks

Manifold made from shop scrap case of beer
install free

if i was to make manifolds that bolted up withthe stromung would you guys want them? tubular equal length with a navy certified welder doing the welds. (tig of course)id have to talk about price with my friend but its a possibilty.
