The cold weather has taken its toll on this thing, and it's weeping quite a bit around below the casing where the top line comes in. I made sure it wasn't a bad hose/clamp etc.


Can anyone please provide a part #, and a description of what it is?

Can I temporarly by-pass it by joining the 2 coolant lines attached?

After-run coolant pump. Common problem, search the forum.

Ultimately you need to replace the part. Check FAP99 or arizonaautohaus for prices.

I wasn't sure what that thing even was!

I'll just let it idle down like my urq for the next week.

Don't worry. That pump will never come on in the winter. Rarely even comes on in the summer.

Yeah, it's 3 degrees (F) outside..it's far from coming on.
