Default Porsche brakes... length of brake line?

What is the length of the brake line when you use a SS line and a Boxter (or, I assume it wouldn't be any different for a big black or something) brake caliper.

Default Would that change depending on caliper used?

And, just to clarify...

I would have to swap the bleed valves and the cross-over piece on each caliper if it's never been on an Audi, correct?

I think I finally have the correct caliper heading my way. Once and for all!

If you get the stock ones off the 5000,they work perfect.

16" is based on my medium grey BIRA 1-based Boxster Brembos.

Default Okay, new question... Is there a stock Porsche line that is 16" long or more??

I'm trying to get one through StopTech and the guy I was talking to unfortunately isn't being very helpful.

I asked him to find me a Porsche line that was more than 16" and he says "I'm sorry, we don't have access to that information"... Okay, you make replacement lines,... So you don't have any technical specs on any of your own product??

It seems like they would have a much easier job of finding out that info than I would. But, they said if I knew of an OE application that met that criteria, they would sell me one.

Isn't that nice of them! (rolling eyes)

So, does anyone here happen to know of a stock Porsche front like that would be longer than 16" in length?? (i.e. car that it would come off of).

Then it will match the caliper but not the car. Go with Linc's 5000 suggestion.

Default My boxter SS lines fit to the Audi factory hard lines...

Not sure if they all have the same end on it though. I guess I assumed they would. At least the modern ones.

I really want to run StopTech SS lines.

Default I can go into dad's old Porsche shop and ask them.

They'll look it up if they don't already know. I'll head in there Monday morning.
