I believe the fittings at the block and cooler are the same - can anyone specify the size?

There's an adapter at the housing.
Where the lines come out of the oil filter housing there's an adapter from a standard metric thread to the funky fittings the stock cooler uses. I removed this adapters and converted to -AN right there at the housing then ran standard lines to a Setrab cooler.
By the way, there's a thermostat in the housing, so don't worry about over-cooling your oil.
