Progress on the S4
Well, accomplished what I set out to do with the 92' S4 I just picked up...started the engine pull at around 11:30 Sunday morning (after a nice little drive, buhahaha) and finished at around 3:30ish...not too bad, I seem to be getting quicker as it seems like I do this every month or so...haha. Anyways, the only real thing people are interested in, bunch o' pictures:
The car didn't have much of a front end to start with, so removing the radiators was a breeze...

Tom Mullane was ever so kind to lend me his engine left...how long has it been now Tom, do you ever want it back?

Both motor mounts were completely shot, made the process a little easier

And the engine is out! Not too difficult, only thing was the downpipe kept hanging up on the heat shield for the passenger side half shaft, so ended up taking that out and dropping the subframe a little bit to make it easier.

The engine is super clean, the previous owner just went through the whole timing belt/cam position sensor/ valve cover gasket maintenance run, etc...

Anyways, tomorrow it is off to remove the rest of the suspension components and the tranny, fun fun

Going to try and keep updating the progress on the car as I have come to realize I have no pictures of past parts cars/it is fun to keep a little data log going of the tear down!
