Default Rebuilt Head, Turbo, and RS2 manifold all together

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/34876/130_0685.jpg"></center><p>Head job including cleaning, valve seals, guides, shave head, two exhaust valves, remove two broken studs (one with a busted EZ out in it), and grind/lap all the other valves cost me $525. Seemed fair to me. I also installed an RS2 manifold and replaced my tired K24 with a rebuilt one. Eventually I might upgrade the turbo. Runs great now. The only problem I had was If I used the flywheel mark for TDC, the cam markings didn't line up. So I played it safe and went by the Cam pully marking and that was correct. (I cheated buy putting a small wooden dowel in the #1 cylinder to make sure that was at TDC.) I wasn't sure if I wanted to tackle a Head gasket job but the last time I brought my 89 200 20vt to a garage for a head gasket they pulled the head, got busy on other jobs (easier jobs) and pulled my car outside (for a month) and eventually the whole engine ended up seized. I had to get another motor from Force 5. So from now on the only mechanic I can count on is me. Total cost ended up about $850.

Default 94 S4 has 216K miles

When I purchased the car about 4 years ago it had about 176K mostly highway miles.

Default I'm sure there must be some gain from only the EM

The exhaust valves on #1 cylinder were cooked and that is one of the disadvantages from the stock EM. #1 and #5 would run hot. Plus now it will be and easy task to swap in a better turbo. Must be some HP gain.
