I ordered a custom German Euro plate and told them not to put any lettering on it at all...
The company who made the plate called me twice to make sure I really wanted it blank ;-)

Mines going to have to stay in the house for at least six months till I graduate
I was told "make sure your cars are 100% legal because we will be going through the parking lots," the NYSP are so uptight.

Took me a second to realize what you were talking about. I'm notoriously...
bad with the stickers. (You try to keep up with 6 vehicles!) Generally the stickers are applied on the side of the road under close supervision by one of the local law enforcement officers. The worst offender is the pickup. Still running the 1991 sticker on that (a personal record).
