Default You'd have to use a separate system. The Hands free speaker / mic is separate from the Radio

In my TT it uses the radio speakers for sound, so the Motorola stereo system would prob. work for other Audi's without a seperate system.

Default my bad i was refering to this link, so install is not that bad for factory speaker/mic

Default I am a total n00b when it comes to the technology of cell phones.

But I am about to sign a new phone contract.

Care to point me to a phone to get? Anything Bluetooth compatible is OK?

I don't even know what service I am getting but probably Sprint.

BTW, you rock. If you can talk me through the install, I can take copious pics and host them.

Default I'm an IT professional by trade, so writing WIKI and Documentation is part of my job.

Thanks for the offer though.

Yes, any Bluetooth phone will work. There are also a host of bluetooth hands free kits. You don't have to get the Motorola one. The Pariot kits are suppose to be very good also. You may run into some compatibilty when trying to use the phones contact lists as apposed to the kit's contact list, but that's minor IMHO.

My service is through sprint. Get your phone from your provider, but get the bluetooth kit from Ebay.

Great.... Another future project I'll have to do. As if I don't have enough.
