Anybody with a specific part #? I think I need to pick one up before they all disappear.
Thanks

They are all the same.....though
for a long time there was a debate that the 3.6 PT engine came with a different rear end than the 4.2 ABH but that was squashed and proven that all V8 (90-94) rear ends are the same.
I am interested in picking a rear end up as well but have not put a lot of effort into it, anyone out there with leads on that let me know. While under the car hanging the Stromung last weekend I saw that the PS rear end seal has blown, leaving me a nice wet spot up there.
It's been added to the list.

Kates says look at "V8" Illustration 44-00: 017 500 043 S (green mark); 043T (yellow mark) Same for
auto and manual. If you dig deeper, there are two rear diff codes AFV and AXZ. AFV includes early cars, AXZ is the later cars.
Trick is to make sure that the ratio is 4.11 to 1, i.e. rotate the out put flange, counting, to see how many it takes to move the input flange 360 deg. >4 turns = okay; < 4 turns = that odd 3.89:1 rear diff from some early car.

I had an '90 V8q... and you are right, but
even with the mild 240hp and slushbox, mine was surprisingly fast. acceleration was pretty good, but the highway, she would roll over 100 easily, 70-120 was very nice... because of this, I would work it...
