Default trip odomometer Help.... when starting the car it displays In . 2 or Ln .2

When I started the car last night and this morning the trip odometer displayed ln . 2 or Ln.2

Have had the car almost a year - never picked up an owners manual - did not come with one. Can anyone tell me what my car wants....is it telling me that it needs an RS2 conversion?

thanks

jeff

Default VAG-COM/Shade Tree is needed to reset the Service Indicator.

It's basically just a timer.

Default Thanks... I'm used to the BMW colored lights for service interval ...

although I tended to ignore those as well and just followed a regularly scheduled oil change interval. The previous owner followed the Audi recomended interval of almost 12000 kms (7500 miles)between oil changes. A little long IMO even with synthetic... I've gone to oil changes about every 3000 miles - oil is cheap....

thanks

Default I believe you can also use the VAG to set the mileage for each interval

So if you want oil changes every 3000 miles you can set that reminder to 3000.

Default if you push in the odometer reset button for one second after u start car, the reminder goes away

and odometer does not reset unless you hold it in for couple seconds longer.
