Default Well, I sea foamed my car today, and the idle misfire has subsided*knocks on wood*...

(by seam foamed, I mean just put it in the gas tank to clean the injectors.)but the misfire under load is still there, which makes me think either its the fuel pump or the pos's. The fuel pump is really loud now, not just after you shut the car down, but when your cruising at low rpm's you can hear it working, and it doesnt sound like its gonna work much longer...so ill try swaping a pos, and then if thats not the cure, try a new fuel pump. Oh well, at least I have a job for the summer...

Default I have the same problem....

But, from what I've read you get misfire issues ALL the time with a bad POS, while it's usually something else if it only happens under hard acceleration (high boost) conditions. My problem seems to come and go. Sometimes it's fine, and sometimes I step on the gas and it feels as if I have no power... I feel a surging (which is a miss).

For me... I'm pretty sure my FPR is going south (having a warm hard start problem as well), so I ordered a replacement and see if that will cure it.

Never had any problems with any S-cars up till now, so I guess my luck ran out.

Usually a fuel pump will start making loud noises (sounds like bees buzzing in your tank) before they die... At least that's my past experience. I drove around with my back seat out today as I just put in a new Die Hard battery yesterday and it's dead quiet, so I don't think that's my issue.

I JUST put in new spark plugs and boot connectors last week, and all of a sudden I'm having misfire issues. Hmm, I wonder if one of those boot connectors is defective or not making good contact.

Seems like this problem could be caused by any number of things. Hope I find it quickly. I don't have time/money to just start arbitrarily replacing parts till it fixes it.

Default Check plastic tee under intake manifold that is used for vacuum and breather. Seen a cracked one

Default I havent done the cyl. yet, but you use the vacuum line that comes from the intake mani to the bpv.

Take it off of the bpv and suck it up through that line. Im doing that later today
