Just two?
A whole set would probably bring more dough.
Without decent rubber, $70-110 per wheel (In good shape).
With rubber, add $20-25/wheel.
I may put my 16" Avus on the Green Machine, for a little Audi rice action.

They sell in eBay all the time for less.
Even *with* tires.
B5 17" Avus, that is. 16s are less desireable.
I've been watching the ads in Audifans and Audiworld, and 16s really don't bring that much.
For reference: I just bought 17x8 S6 Avus wheels (without rubber) for $600. And they don't show up very often.
Let me put it like this: I'll be glad if I can get $400 for my wheels and tires, and my tires have a ton of life left. I will list them for sale starting at $500, however.

Most are bent or curbed by now. Not worth much IMHO, since a wheel restoration costs...
I paid $700 to get my set of Avus rims restored (trued, repaired, repainted, and the tires re-mounted and balanced).
I would rather buy a brand new set from Audi at over $1,000 than pay $650-800 for an old set.
You come out ahead in the end.
I'd say a set of 16" Avus are worth no more than about $300 in good shape IMHO.
I've got a PERFECT set of 15" 5-spoke A6 design Audi wheels with a decent set of Pirelli snows on it, and I couldn't even get $250 for the full set in Seattle. I said, fine, I'll just keep them. They're sitting in the basement with all kinds of crap I can't part with.

I've had a set of six-spoke Speedline wheels (c/w tires) in my basement for 8 years. Can't sell them
as in nobody wants to buy them for a reasonable price. Firesales prices maybe (last resort).

If we bring two cars to S-Fest West...
...I'll bring them along.
Otherwise, you'll either have to come and fetch them, or pay shipping.
And they won't be available for a little while yet.
E-mail me.
