Why do I have boost with the boost line disconnected from the ECU?

Default WGFV unplugged, 6psi. Plugged it back in 12psi but "sputtering"

I've been calling it a miss under boost. I put in new plugs, replaced a coil after testing them all, new fuel filter. Nothing has really helped.

Did you check all the coil to plug boots? What about the POSs? Boost leak?

Default Never said it wouldn't throw a CEL, just that you can't be certain of what the ECU is doing with....

the WGFV with the boost line disconnected. It will still try to operate the valve until it finally sorts out that the MAP reference isn't working.

I've swapped in different POS's, plug boots looked OK, Couldn't find any boost leaks.
