It seems the world of Audi knows UrS drivers are...
1. Ridiculously intimate with their cars
2. HP/TQ addicts
3. Absolutely insane
My 10v friends (well.. friend and his friends) seem to be much more relaxed individuals. Then again I probably wouldn't be quite so amped every day if I didn't ride a 20v monster everywhere I went.

I mean, ok, the RS6 has more displacement. But the most limiting thing about the RS6, IMO, is its tranny. Sure, a handful of tuners have gotten 620+ chp out of it, but they have had to majorly rework the tranny components to beef it up. And its still a slushbox. The cost of getting the 6sp MT into one is astronomical, though Bob at Stratmosphere did it to his, IIRC.
Not to mention, it gulps down gasoline like a goldfish gulps water. Give me a 2.2l 5cyl in an older, lighter car any day. Javad's turbo'd 7A is only 2.3l, but he's making 532 whp, and mid 400's in the wtq dept, or thereabouts. Granted that power comes on much later in the rev band than that of an RS6, but the I5 is proven capable of insane power figures. I've yet to see an RS6 even come close to numbers I've seen with the I5. Maybe given time, but the 4.2 TT isn't in enough cars to make it worthwhile for tuners to come up with package deals, cost-effectively. And given an UrS with a built I5 with $30K in it, the overall investment in the project ends up being less than $50k, which is less than the used market value of a stock RS6. To me, that's more appealing.
Don't get me wrong, the RS6 is a nifty luxo-barge, and if they had offered the Avant here in the US, I would have bought one. But for the money, I'd rather have an S4/S6, and have fun with it. Ok, make that two... ;-)
Cheers,
