Default Adjust hatch height ?
how do you do this ?

on my q7, you could just adjust by hand to the max level you wanted. I can’t seem to do that here

Should be same. It works the same as my 2010 Q5 I believe. Standard procedure. Are you long pressing the button until it beeps after you adjust the height to where you want it?

it is as jrjunior31 as described

manually set the tailgate to the height you want, then long press the close button until you hear a beep

that’s it

I wasnt holding that button long enough.

How do you manually set the height? Just pull down on it after its open?

I didn't know there was a shortcut! I previously used the method described in the manual. Here's a screenshot from the online Q8 manual:

Ack, you're right. I missed the part you wrote about the long button press. (Ooops!) The manual just makes it sound more complicated that what you described.

I see a side career for you writing car manuals that describe procedures simply and concisely.
