APR vs Integrated engineering price difference for RSQ8?
Hey all,
looking at the two it seems that IE is going for torque while APR focuses more on HP. Other than that i was wondering what your experience was with either and why the Integrated engineering one is nearly $500 more.
Also, in regards to the tune, on the q8 is there more value in the Horsepower of APR or torque of IE?
I know there's hundreds of apr vs ie threads but my question is a bit more specific.

Someone just told me that APR is not what they used to be and are owned by Summit I think. An Audi employee told me this but not sure it’s true or if it matters.
I have been interested in both and from all I have read the APR tune is a little less refined and more of an on or off scenario. You lose some smoothness and drivability.
The IE tune is more linear and keeps the car smoother in the day to day driving.
I am not an expert on either just sharing what I have heard and read.

APR is owned by Holley which also owns Dinan. The E*A (*=P) has been putting the hurt on all the big tuning companies for the past couple of years.
