Audi Rings Puddle lights on 2019 Q8
#51
I installed the cheap puddle lights from Amazon 4 years ago on our Q5. The only issue is that after a couple of years the lights faded. I simply ordered a new set. I think there was something about a guarantee replacement but by that time I had lost the order info on the original set. Bottom line, I have still spent less than $50 total for something for which Audi now wants $450 and had my option of styles. When our Q8 comes in I intend to do the Audi rings on the front doors and S-line on the rear.

They fit on all 4 doors, but no, it's front doors only on A3-Q5 and varients thereof. Rears just get normal non logo puddle lamps from the factory

They were an option for about 300 bucks and they only came on the front doors. But you can buy two for the rear doors on amazon for about 10 bucks. It takes about 5 minutes to install both of them. The ones I bought don't match exactly but they still look nice.

If you purchase a car off any dealer's lot, the lights will probably already be installed and charged $450. If you order from the factory, make sure you specify that you don't want the port installed lights as the dealer will try to include this high-profit item.

I ended up purchasing three styles of lights from Amazon; Rings, "S-Line" and "quattro". I installed the "S-Line" on the front doors, the "quattro" on the rears and kept the Audi Rings for a spare. Total cost was about $34 plus 5 minutes of labor.

Yes, that is why I got them because they were already installed. But just the front??? I don't even think I knew what they were when I got the car until I opened the doors at night the first time. My wife liked them and I got 4 for her BMW for a total of 15 bucks. The BMW ones are much nicer as the BMW logo is more detailed and it has the blue in them.
