Seem to be lots of options for SQ8 as it shares Ceramic and Steel setups with RS6/7.

I can’t find any aftermarket options for RSQ8 with steel brakes.
Checked with ATE, Brembo, Hawk, EBC and more.
Can anyone confirm fitment with any aftermarket on RSQ8? Looking for 1st hand experience here The online search tools on the aforementioned companies websites are showing the same pads for RS6/7 and RSQ8 with steel brakes.
My friends at German Pacific say no dice.

RSQ8 steel brakes are the same size as the RS6/7 and SQ8 ceramics.

I hate the factory pads. Way too much dust. I’m holding out for aftermarket, at least until my sensors are tripped.

For posterity, I was able to order Bluestuff FRONT pads from EBC UK (not available in USA yet).


Still looking for rear.

isn't blue is HIGH DUST? perhaps more dust than OEM?

EBC told me all of their pads will have “lower dust than the OEM pads”.

Turns out, EBC has no pads that fit RSQ8.
I paid £182.10 for the pads + £141.00 for shipping. Now if I pay £141.00 to ship them back, they’ll give me £182.10 back.

Not worth my time. Anyone stateside need 400mm Q7 pads?

I think these Delphi pads fit RSQ8 with steel brakes. They are far less expensive than Audi OEM pads.

So, I found an aftermarket front brake pad solution for RSQ8 with steel brakes. They ship from Great Britain, I couldn't find a local source. With that said, still less than 1/4th the price of OEM.

I have had these on for 3 weeks now, have less dust and zero squeal. Pretty interesting.
