Default Disable auto-start stop

This company has confirmed to me that this works on the D5 A8, and also just confirmed to me this will work on the Q8, and they have a solid refund policy, allegedly.

That said, has anyone tried this on the Q8?

Wow, that looks promising, I wonder if you need an Android device for coding similar to OBDeleven.

I’ve heard of that company but never researched it as most people were recommending OBD. Great find, I may order this, thx for posting.

I purchased one for my 2019 A6 and one for my 2019 Q8. Initially, the dongles would not complete the coding process (based on led indicators on the devices), but Kuftec's developer was able to log-in via TeamViewer and debug to correct that issue. Now both cars accept the coding and this disables auto-stop/start. Unfortunately, the coding does not persist after the cars are turned off. So it's still work in progress, but these guys will figure it out and release a firmware update...

BTW, Kuftec's VIM dongle works great on my 2019 A6.

Huh? Can't you achieve the same results by pressing the "off" button on the auto-start? It shuts it off until you re-start the car, at which point its back on. Why pay for the dongle to do the same thing?
