Disappearing shortcut MMI - fixed yet?
Has anyone gotten an MMI update that fixes the mysterious disappearing shortcut address memory thing?

Hey Angry...Our SA at the dealer informed me that they performed a pre-delivery software update on our D5. Not sure what this update specifically addressed, but I’ll ask her on Tuesday when the service department re-opens for the week.

Angry- my car’s production pre-dates yours—February ‘19 (yeah I know, sat up at the port like forever), so it’s likely it may also cover your car if the update isn’t specific to U.S. builds. I’ll certainly ask her for that info though. She can tell specifically what updates may be available by VIN #. PM me if you want to share that info with me to provide to her.

Angry...They did a software update to the Gateway Control Module. Looks like it has nothing to do with your issue about the disappearing shortcuts/favorites settings. Here's what this module update addresses:
Symptoms of the gateway control module software issue addressed by this service action include:
• Engine does not crank/start
• Instrument cluster does not turn on
• Dealer able to confirm no communication with gateway control module
Not all cars seem to be affected--appears to be vehicle specific with affected customers in U.S. and Canada receiving letters on this. I've attached the actual TSB released in May 2019. I'll cross post on the D5 forum for those handful of folks.

Shortcut Fix Released... but failed for me
I received a software update that specifically was to fix the MMI shortcuts going gray and disabled as well as losing the custom HVAC button that never seemed to appear. Has anyone else gotten this update with success?
