We tow and have had major issues with the pre sense system when we do. In the latest case, we were towing a 16' utility trailer with a Polaris UTV. The total weight on the trailer axels was about 2600lbs and a tongue weight of approx 660lbs. While trailering, the adaptive light and high beam assist were the first to fail about five minutes into the trip and not long after that distance monitor failed. Once the distance monitor failed so did the adaptive cruise control. We have had multiple issues while our wheelchair ramp (tongue weight <400lbs) is attached as well with similar failures. Each time the adaptive cruise fails, the car has to go back to the dealer to be "reset". The Q8 came with the factory towing package but it does not have the adaptive air suspension option. I am very interested in others' experience while towing heavier loads and if those Q8s have or do not have the adaptive air suspension.
