Default Does the steering need to be recalibrated by dealer after alignment?

I got new wheels installed so I went to get my alignment done. The Total Toe and Steer Ahead are dead center but my steering wheel is angled slightly to the right. This happened from two different well known alignment shops. The odd thing is, when I got my suspension installed they did alignment at the same time and the steering was straight. They are a well known mod shop so not sure if it's something that needs to be done with ODIS or what not?

I have read somewhere that if you have rear steering in your car the best result is usually achieved with a dealer.

I think I read that somewhere as well. My car doesn't come with 4 wheel steering though.

It's part of any alignment and if they forgot to center the wheel they messed up

Yes, this can be done through ODIS yourself. I had my wheel alignment done by a third party company and my steering wheel was pointing a little to the side. I completed the calibration procedure at home and the car began to drive perfectly straight. And the steering wheel went to zero.
My car come with 4 wheel steering though.

ODIS:
– Select and start Diagnosis mode.
– Select Test plan tab.
– Choose Select own test and select following options one
after the other:
♦ Systems with diagnostic capability
♦ 0016 - Steering column electronics control unit J527
♦ 0016 - Steering column electronics control unit, functions
♦ 0016 - Calibration of steering angle sender G85
– Start selected program and follow instructions shown on dis‐
play of vehicle diagnostic tester.

I don't have ODIS but thanks for confirming that. I've had alignment done at three different shops now and wondered why two of them had my steering tilted a bit and when done at the mod shop they had it centered.
