Factory tint question

Mine is the extra special foggy style.
If only I was kidding. Lots of threads about this, but the factory tint on the dual pane rear windows (privacy glass) is very hazy/foggy especially in the sunlight. It appears that it does a fine job blocking the heat as my rear seats are never hot. Someone else may know if there’s actually UV blocking going on.
If I could do it all over again, I’d get clear glass all the way around and tint it all myself.

No real heat rejection/UV protection from the factory tint. The dual pane glass does add some heat rejection, but as was mentioned, it comes with a foggy appearance. I had 35% tint added to my front side windows and 90% tint added to all the factory tinted windows (ceramic) for UV/heat rejection. SO far im pretty happy with that, but still frustrated by the foggy rear windows.

I paid Ceramic Film Tint ($375) Full Front PPF - clear bra - full hood, front end, mirrors and threw in rear lower rocker panels ($2325) and ceramic coating ($650). First time doing either PPF or Ceramic and very impressed with how well the paint is protected as well as how easy it is to clean the car. I also lowered the car with EMD linear springs and rebadged with Black badges (waiting on side emblems...)
