Thanks! It replaces a BMW X1, which was just way too small for my wife. Also, despite being fully optioned, it just wasn’t quite luxurious enough overall and we really didn’t like certain BMW quirks like the turn signal. Minor issues yes, but annoying day to day. She originally went to the X1 after finding her Audi Q7 (last gen) too big after we had moved since it was hard to park in the city since it didn’t have 360 cameras like we have now.

Now the Q8 is just the perfect size. She (and I) both find the drive to be a perfect blend of comfortable luxury with enough sportiness to be exciting when you want it to be. The tech makes driving and parking a breeze.

So far, I’ve only seen 1 other Q8 on the road. Still a rarity for now!

I just got an email that my car production is complete and is headed to Emden port.

So maybe my dealers estimation of end Feb Early March into N Calif is correct

I have yet to see one of these on road in my area.

That’s a big step up from an x1 to a q8. Not just size, but luxury/features !

I received the same email today. Getting anxious. Been a long short wait.

It’ll be worth the wait! We were just happy to find some Q8s in stock in our area that suited us.

Good to see so many people like the navarra blue with year one. It’s just a great color combo. Yet to see a Q8 in the DC metro area.

Mine's supposed to arrive in Houston on the Viking Conquest late Wednesday night. Hope to see it by sometime next week .
Checking out all the great pictures of yours has helped speed the process since we're going to be twins.

Nice! You’re gonna love the Daytona. I had my wife’s car at a collision center and the manager was looking at the Q8 yesterday. His exact words to me - I love this f*****g color! Then he said the front looks mean. Lol. People love the Q8.

I saw my first Q8 in the wild today! Glacier White in Central Wisconsin.
