I've been using my device for a number of cars over the years and most recently used it on my etron.
I've tried to use apps and long coding on the 23 Q8 and keep gekeeps failed on the apps. For long coding I get a message about something going wrong. Did something change with the software on thr 23 q8s?
I’m having the same problem. I just bought a new Ultimate version, and no apps work and long coding won’t write either. :-(
Hood is open, ignition is on, but its just a very expensive widget that scans and clears errors but is otherwise useless as support is apparently nonexistent.
I've been in touch with support and honestly not optimistic. Seems like Audi has stepped up to ensure no changes are made and their security settings are blocking it. I was told to ensure parking brake is activate, push the ignition button once to turn on accessories, pop the hood and try it again. It still did not work. I tried multiple variations of the 3 steps and nothing. THey want a log of my car to look at various parameters.
Honestly questionning if their app is even worthy going forward anymore and if the same issue exists with their competitors.

Will do. Honestly thats why I posted on here. I figured I can't be the first q8 23 owner considering the new refresh coming out for 24 having this issue.
Seems this issue has been known and the steps mentioned above should've fixed it but nope. Which leads me to believe might be the end of mods by us owners which will suck tbh
I assume the system never asked you for your security codes. Some modules require security codes to connect to them.

Nope nothing. Usually the security code prompt is when you try to perform the action. Here it just tries to make the change and then a red bar pops up in the bottom saying failed for apps.
For long coding says something went wrong try again.
