I did see an option somewhere in the settings to automatically unlock SFD, but never flicked the switch. Mine is on the way back to Amazon already so too late for me to try now.

Didn't even know that option existed and if that was the trick sucks support didn't tell me. I'll try again and revert back this evening once I put kids to bed.

I was so excited. My optimism jumped a inch off the ground and fell back down even faster lol

A FAIL. even with it enabled.

Bummer. Hopefully support can get it sorted, or at least let you know if it will work or not in the foreseeable future.

I have a MY24 Q5 and I'm having similar difficulties with coding via vcds. I had a token to unlock the sfd and that worked but it still wouldn't save my change. It appears (not confirmed) that sfd2 is on some cars although this was only expected to come in with the Q6

It would be good to scan the whole car. These controllers which will not appear on the scan may have SFD or other protection. If the scan of the whole car will fail it would rather mean the problem with the scanning tool as some controllers even in the newest models don't have any protection.

I can scan and see SFD protected modules. They don't go invisible, just not adjustable

ust tried to get matrix headlights enabled, and it failed also. Apparently if you have the new driver assistance display you have SFD2. So yay for getting an extra display, and not so yay for the SFD2 that comes along with it. Possibly Audi just ran out of the 2023 modules and started stuffing 2024 units in, or maybe they're just messing with us. Anyhoo, here's hoping for people to figure out how to work with the new security sooner rather than later.

That's what I figured. I had a 2022 etron and driver assistance was the same but didn't have this tesla like driver assistance feature. I will say it's pretty darn cool to look at blindspot without hosing the side view mirrors.

At the same time security is on a different level. I still need to do the back up and send it to the guys at obd.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one. I just got the OBDeleven a couple of days ago. My primary reason for purchasing it was to turn off/adjust the obnoxiously loud seat belt warning. I tried everything the instructions provide -- hood open, ignition on, engine off -- and I get the 'Check Ignition and Try again' error message. From what I'm reading here, it seems the 2023 Q8 isn't compatible (or vice-versa). Topping that off, I was under the mistaken impression the Pro Pack came with 200 credits, so I bought 100 useless credits. Back to Amazon, I guess.

I've been using my device for a number of cars over the years and most recently used it on my etron.

I've tried to use apps and long coding on the 23 Q8 and keep gekeeps failed on the apps. For long coding I get a message about something going wrong. Did something change with the software on thr 23 q8s?

any one else seen this happen?
