Hello.

I want a Q8. Badly. But I'm really disappointed that it doesn't come with Park Assist. Is PA something that can be updated down the road? Is it euro spec only?

Any info would be super helpful. Thanks.

To be clear, when I say Park Assist, I mean the self-driving kind where it parks the car for you.

no word from anyone if it's updatable or not. I suspect it is, but not sure how one would engage it without the button being installed

have you used the system in other cars yet?

Does it have the extra ultrasonic sensors? I think it needs another pair on the sides of the front and back for a total of 12.

I have used it on a 2019 BMW X3 and X5. I love it. I really want it on a Q8. Seems silly that you can't get it on a halo car from Audi. Even Chevy has it available on some models.

I had park assist on my 2013 ML 350 and used it quite often. I wish this was available. Audi is lacking in the Park Assist feature.

They don't have automatic parking assist - they aren't talking about the park assist at stoplight etc.

I don't know what "park assist at a stoplight" means, but auto-park was added to a bunch of the 2019 models.

Didn't know they added it to some of the others late 2019 sorry ….. wonder why the Q8 hasn't received it. I saw European articles talking about it getting added in early 2019 (at least in Europe) with a software upgrade. So I guess it goes back to the original poster questions …. will the US be getting it as an update? Your Right we don't have the steering assist button …. Audi technical name seems to be "Park Steering Assist"
