RS Q8 AT PORT- HOLD FOR TIRES

Just received notice that my 2024 RSQ8 along with others are at the port for a hold on tires?!? Anybody know what that means? Car has been there for several days now.

They arrived with Pirelli's and they are changing them as the tire was discontinued is what I was told. It was the same for SQ8.
They changed mine to Continentals

How did you find out it was on hold for tires? From your sales guy?

Continentals will be better. did u get sportcontact 7? or 6?

I don't think they have 7's for 23" wheels if that's what it comes with. I just threw on some 23's on my Q8 and the Sportcontact 6's (295/35/23) were the only option. They were very cheap too for some reason.

some reported the 6 tires are noisy...i know the 7 tires reviewed very well w Tyre Reviews. the 7 tires come in very limited sizes still. the 22 inch wheels can fit them, but not the 23.
