My wife hates black wheels too, but I just love them. One possibility...

Stock wheels for the road, black wheels for the track. Then just leave the black wheels on after the track event.... HA!

I never like black wheels. For some reason I like to "see" the wheels. However at the same time, I hate chrome wheels. So I'll stay with the original.
