Ipod or SD card interface

I just took deliver of my R8 two weeks ago...what an absolutely awesome car! The only stag I have encountered thus far is, I would like to use my Ipod (or download Itunes music to SD card) to play in MP3/SD card ports in the R8. Problem is, the SD card port does not read Itunes music that I have saved to SD card (I guess due to different formats). Does anyone have a simply fix/solution for this issue. Please advise.

in short, no

the best solution is install an iPod interface but you will probably lose you changer. Take a look at www.dension.com

I am not an R8 Owner or really don't have any knowledge of what format it will play but I am assuming that it will play MP3's If your buying your music on iTunes or if your ripping it iTunes in default format that will be in .aac which is not as common as MP3. The purchased songs will also have DRM on them. You can get around this on windows with a program called myfairtunes. Google it and it can eliminate the DRM on those songs. This is not legal but it works wonderfully. As for the songs you have ripped. I recommend ripping them again as an MP3 or converting your .aac files to a .mp3. I recommend 192kb/s or higher.
