R8 twin turbo trip KC to Riverside ca
Well since weather through the rockies looked questionable
decided to take "southern route" KC-Oaklahoma city-Albuquerque-Gallup NM
to riverside.
Day one I arrive in KC at 825PM my co-pilot arrived 830 pm so far so good.
take cab to my car get there depart 930 PM Drive to ok city arrive 430 AM
day two get up at 8am Eat breakfast/fuel depart 9 AM get 60 miles east of Albuquerque
I mention to my buddy cars coming from other direction traffic light plus they all had
their headlights on? Temp 35 degrees maybe it was raining ahead?
Few miles later rapid temp drop 29 degrees... so what....then a few snow flurries..no biggie...
temp drops to 21 degrees then heavy Blowing Snow.
