Aftermarket radios on 2001 s4
Has anyone replaced their stock symphony unit with an aftermarket radio/cd receiver? Did you have any radio clarity issues? I am getting little or no reception and was told thats what happens with these german cars....any info will be very helpful, tia

btw...
i did get a antenna adapter installed and it broght the clarity from 100% static to some stations coming in a little clearer here and there, but no steady clarity anywhere...help please, tia

I have a 2001 also, Steve, and I have perfect reception with my aftermarket radio
Do a search in here for "antenna adapter" and you should find all you need. There is a specific one that you must get. It is a powered adapter, BTW. Someone posted a picture and a part number a while ago, but your search ought to turn it up, unless someone has it handy.
