Audi OEM Dash Cam Accessory?

Has anyone done the OEM Audi Dash Cam Accessory ("Universal Traffic Recorder")? Available elsewhere, apparently not in the States.
Wondering though, is it relatively plug and play? Or will there be a lot of invasive interior work/wiring needed? The finished effort looks neat, inconspicuous.

Yes, I installed it and it is plug and play. No wire cut.

The only problem - app. Found android app somewhre on the web. No problems installing.

Recomend for every one.
