Ok, I've finaly tired of the mediocre Bose system and am doing some upgrades. I've got Cadence 5-1/4's on the way for the front and back doors. However I would like to add an amp and real sub.

- Does anyone know what size the stock bose base box is? Could this be used with a single 8".
- Has anyone replaced the stock box with something custom in the side panel with say 1 10"?
- Any tips for getting the side panel apart?

- How about in the spare tire well without removing the spare. According to my calculations I can get .9 cu ft. and 4" mounting depth?
