can anybody tell me what i would need to hardwire an ipod
to an alpine cda-7894? thanks guys. ive been looking online, but dont know much about the audio stuff.

need a 9xxx series HU for that fancy iPod box
Your 7894 doesn't seem to support it.

I'm looking at the 7894 manual right now (had one in a previous car) and it says
"You can input TV/video sound by connecting an optional Ai-NET/RCA Interface cable (KCA-121B) or Versitile Link Terminal (KCA-410C) to this component."
Newer Alpines have an interface specifically designed for the iPod.
