Default Can someone help me determine if this is a blown speaker (or something else)

in my 2001 S4, at lower volumes I notice the door speaker is 'distorting' mid-range frequencies (voices/talking it's most noticable). Almost like the sound through a fast-food drive-up speakerphone. It seems to be worse when cold and maybe get a little better after the car has warmed up.

Should still be under warranty - if so, they'll fix/replace whatever is wrong.

I know this is old, but my speaker does the same thing. Im pretty sure its the bose amp because it also happened on my 1991's 300zx bose system years ago. the z had a seperate amp for each speaker. does this hold true for the a4?

if anyone knows, i would love to get this resolved! thanks..
