Default Delta CC Bose Problem

I have a 97 A6 Avant with a Delta CC Bose radio, the headunit works fine, but most of the speakers don't work once I start the car. If the car isn't running, ignition on or off, the speakers work fine. Once I start the car, only the subwoofer works, and sometimes the drivers speaker will crackle. I also noticed that the speakers will work fine with the engine running when the outside air temp is above 90 degrees, which doesn't happen too often in northern NY. Thanks for any advice on where to start loking

Default Dry solder joints on the Bose amp I suspect. Run a soldering iron over the PCB

inside the amp and reheat all the major joints, also check the connector and do likewise.
Simple fix, but has worked many times on Bose amps.

Default I suspect it may be the connector, as all speakers, except the sub,....

go out when I start the car. Doesn't each speaker have it's own amp? Which connector is my next question? Thanks for the help.

Default Just checked my schematic, I see the front speakers have ...

their own amplifiers, while the rear speakers and sub have one amplifier. I need to figure out why all speakers, except the sub, cut out once I start the engine. They work fine when the engine is off, even with the ignition switch in the on position. Anyone know what could cause this?

Default Are you sure? On all Bose systems it's the sub that has it's own amp

the cabin speakers all run off one 4channel amp, with a seperate one for the sub.

Default According to the schamatic I am looking at,

the amplier for the sub is also the amplifier for the rear speakers. The schematic shows the wires going from the sub/amplifier to the rear woofer, then to the rear tweeter. It also shows the front speakers as each having a built in amp.

I still don't notice anything from the schematic to help me fix my problem. Had the car almost two years and it was like that when I bought it, I need some driving music.

Default

I'd try looking at the car rather than a drawing
