Does anyone have an aftermarket radio on their A4(B5) and able to Vag their car still?

Does anyone have an aftermarket radio on their A4(B5) and able to Vag their car still?
I have an Alpine headunit install and now I'm having a problem. Can't Vag the car. It was fine when I had the oem radio.

did you hack into the existing wire harness
because if so that was your problem
there's a wire that's in that harness, i think it's blue, and if you connect it the vag com doesnt like it
it will even fry some dealers older computers.

Nope, I used an adaptor that came with the kit. But I did find this...
