Default Which Harness for 97 A4???

I would like to install an Aftermarket head unit in place of my factory Delta unit(with bose but no changer). Which harness should I get in order to interface with the Bose stuff?? I couldn't find one listed in the Scoshe catalog. Would the VW harness be compatible or am I SOL. Also where do you guys get the nice looking trim rings I have seen in a few pics, the ones that more or less much the dash? Thanks for any and all help.

Default Re: Which Harness for 97 A4???

kevin i used scosche p# 010au2300b 96-up audi dash kit with 021vw01b pwr/spkr wire plug ordered directly from scosche (also ant. adpt and removal tool) . i put an alpine in place of my stock deck , but the rear spkr. s did not work due to the fact they have a seperate amp. that was fine for a little while until i changed all four spkr."s and new wire.. try calling the company they are very helpfull. hope this will help you out !! p.s. i have a 1997 a4 jay

Default Do you have any pics?

I'm considering doing the same... Weighing options between just adding cd (hard to find) and doing an entire install (starting w/ head unit).
