Default Awesome, i found some brackets that look just like the metra kit, just needs some

modyfing to fit right. I found them off a samsung tv at my house lol they will probaly work. Now on my to-do list is to mount the antenna and figure out how to stuff these damn wires somewhere lol.

Any suggestions on mounting the antenna and how to stuff the wires so the radio fits correctly?

thanks alot for your help

Default Im still alittle hesitant to buy this kit after reading the writeup for the d3, it seems the person

that wrote the install did not end up using the brackets because they didnt fit right. I understand the brackets will mount to the side of the d3, but how is the unit secured in place, is it held in by the two screws on each side of the dash?
I have mounted the radio with custom metal brackets for now but i am still hunting down a au2380b install kit. I am just not 100% sure how the brackets work on that particular kit.

I know that my friends ram that i installed a d3 with the brackets that came with the kit, but that particular trim piece bolted to the car as well, as you know the kits for our car just snap in.

I hope my post isnt too confusing but any help is appreciated.

thanks alot
