Has anyone purchased the Audi OEM Mobile Phone Adapter for the iPhone 5/5s (PN 8T0051435L)? I bought one for my RS4 - it fit the adapter in my center console perfectly, however the cradle molding was too tight to fit my iPhone 5. I couldn't get it to slide far enough down to connect to the lightening dock interface. I had an equally difficult time getting my phone back out. Since this is an OEM part (and not a knock-off), I was wondering if any iPhone 5 / 5s users had a like experience or if your phones easily slid into / out of the cradle?

Does this mount on the dash?

I'm personally looking for something to do with the ash tray place. I don't smoke so it's a wasted spot IMO.
