Ipod hook-up

Can anyone help me? I need to find an adapter i think. Something that would go where my cd changer (right now it is an empty space) would go in the trunk of my 2001 A4 1.8t then i have a cable that runs out of that spot that i want to plug my ipod into, then hit cdc on the h/u and use my ipod.

Im searching for a better solution since I dont have full control over my Ipod it has me on a search for a better option.

That's not true you can run as many playlists as you like you will only have 5 if running through HU

You can also control the iPod individually in the cradle and access it all that way as well.

If he hits the CDC on his headunit, he can select 1-5 of his playlist 6 in the Icelink Menu. So he can set up a million playlist but he will only have control over 5. You could un-dock the ipod select a playlist, artist, or what have you the Ipod will continue to play your selection. Regardless of what the CDC number is selected.
