JL 12W6v2 power handling question....
I have a 12W6V2 (as you may have guessed from my topic). I used to power it with a Rockfor 400W amp, which actually fed it closer to 100 watts with its 4 Ohm resistance. When i upgraded cars i upgraded amps to a Cadence Ultrashock A7 +HC. I am yet to do the install. My question is this: The Cadence lists 500 Watts @ 4 ohms. JL website lists 400 Watts Max handling. Am i going to be okay? Is JL underlisting? is cadence overlsiting? I also have a JL 10W7 but it is in the JL powerwedge encloseure and too big for my audi. Would i be better off switching the box on that and using it? can i run both subs simultaneuosly (even though the W7 is 3 ohms resistance)? any input is welcome, everything is still up in the air.
Thanks

2 issues.....
1: the W7 is a 10, the W6V2 is a 12, so it hits deeper....how will the W7 hold up with my Cadence A7+HC putting 500+ watts to it? (500 @ 4 ohms, teh W7 runs 3)? I would love the specs of the box, you can emai or post....how big is it? any ideas on what to do with the JL Powerwedge i have now? I listen to alot of Dancehall/Rap/Reggae, so i like my sub to hit HARD. But distortion is unacceptable, which is why i went with JL for my drivers. Thanks for the help and advice.
