JukeBox Voice Command Problems
New to the forums and was hoping someone could help me with my JukeBox Issue
Kind of odd. I've been able to import music into the jukebox no problem. Everything plays fine, I can see album art, I can see lists of my albums from the artist folders etc but I cannot get voice commands to work for the jukebox at all. If I say "select artist" or "artist david bowie" for example, it responds by saying "the list is empty".
I've tried to delete the jukebox and add songs again but no improvement. I've tried both AAC and MP3s too loaded from USB and SD cards. No matter what I choose, "select genre" "select artist" "select album" it returns with "the list is empty", yet when I open the artist subfolder in the jukebox, all the artists are listed....
I realize voice commands won't work for iPod sd etc, only jukebox.
I spoke with Audi Support via their WebChat and they suggested:
The folder up might be the key here because of the way the Jukebox is organized with folders and sub-folders.
It sounds to me like you have been doing everything correctly, but saying "folder up" before the artist name or song name should be the key. For the jukebox you do since it organizes everything in folders and sub-folders (kind of like on a PC). Also, for the jukebox you just need to say "artist XY" or "album XY" or "track XY" or even "genre XY".
Any suggestion? Very frustrating.
Thanks
Mike
Went into MMI settings, reset the JukeBox to factory settings and rebooted the MMI.
Works perfectly now.
Hope this helps someone else with the same problem someday...
