Looking to install a double din navi into a single din 99 a4...
I am thinking of installing a avic-d3 unit in my 99 a4 but it looks like a big PIA with relocating the a/c controls down to the ashtray area. Has anyone in here tackled this? Any tips on the install? I was thinking of just replacing the entire center consle with one from a 99.5 and on b5 including the a/c unit but im not sure if it is even possile because the units are different.
I have done some searches for this but only get info for an a6 or a8, not sure if anyone has completed this on an a4.
