Default MMI failure

MMI began to intermittently stop working on our 2007 Audi Q7. This began happening when battery was failing. We replaced battery asking tech to keep power to the car at all times while changing out the battery. We are sure it needed a new battery. After replacing battery, MMI wouldn't turn on but a day later it came on one last time. Stayed on for about 2 hours and then never came back on again. Replaced the MMI with new one but that did not fix the problem. Wondering if it could be a software or programming problem.

Are you talking about the screen behind the steering wheel? I bought a 2007 A6 used about 6 months ago. When i bought it the screen behind the steering wheel just displays the software version and developers names. Trying to figure it out.
