So i've looked pretty much everywhere online for a solution and used the search function here and came up empty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! It's a 2007 Q7 4.2 S-Line. Anyway, 95% of the time the screen doesn't even light up at startup. No backup camera, no splash screen, no sound no nothing for the entire trip. The center console lights around the joystick area are also out. I've replaced the control board for the joystick and inspected the amplifier in the rear for water damage (no signs). I still have no screen, radio, or buttons lit around the joystick area. Now here's where it gets interesting... Only when i slam the rear hatch closed, does it have any chance of coming on. I'd say 3 out of 4 times it will come on and EVERYTHING will function perfectly for the entire trip until i shut it off. The lights are all on along with the screen for the entire trip. Has anyone experienced this?
