myAudi App
I have a 2018 Audi A6 and the myAudi app has never worked on my vehicle. It says it needs to be activated by the dealer. I went through troubleshooting with Audi and they said this is a common issue. So, is this actually a common issue?

The dealer does have to verify your contract number that you got when you signed up (and do some sort of VooDoo) , and for connection to your phone you need to add a "key user". The key user number should be found on a tab attached to the key when the car was new. If you cannot locate that number the dealer is able to get a new number from Germany (takes about a week).
I think the free trial period is six months. After that, it's pretty expensive for what you get. For me as far as the pricing goes "the juice is not worth the squeeze".

What all do I get with it? I was hoping remote start. I won't pursue this PITA if it is really not all it's cracked up to be. My main interest is remote start.

No remote start, at least not on mine. More of a monitoring app... Car Locked/unlocked, windows open/cls, service info, valet crap, speed monitoring if you're not behind the wheel, geofencing, etc. You can remotely lock/unlock but that's about it.
