No more phatnoise? That was such a cool idea. Looks like they got bought out =T

It lives on as a Kenwood.
Kenwood is now making the MusicKeg based on PhatNoise tech. A friend of mine works there and supposedly PhatNoise isn't going to be making their branded version for much longer.

Nope... not at all in fact...
Phatnoise has always been targeted at the OEM market. They're a small company, mostly engineers. Retail sales and marketing would kill them. The original beta Phatboxes and the Phatbox LE (of which I'm a proud owner) were sold through very quickly. I look at it as a proof of concept. They have moved on to the next phase of their business, being a licensor of their product.
Call up AoA and tell em you want a Phatbox option available from your dealer.

No...not without the blitzsafe adapter and the phatbox firmware
I am unsure if the Keg accepts different hardware, would be worth going to the phatnoise site to their forums to find out.
The LE is what I have 20 gig HD OEM compatibility speech ID of albums artists etc...pretty cool. I was a beta tester for it.
