No output from amp to speakers

No output from amp to speakers
I recently purchased a Targa MP3 headunit together with a Jensen 4 channel amp. It played for a while but kept on cutting off. I figured the problem has something to do with the remote wire as the head unit does not have one, or at least there is nothing detailing one. I am at wits end trying to figure this out as I have power running to my amp when I connect the remote to the blue "power antenna" wire running from my headunit but there is still no output from amp to speakers. I am now running my speakers directly from the headunit, but , whats the point of having the amp if I cannot use it. Can anyone out there please advice???????

You have crap gear. It wouldn't cut out with no RTO, it wouldnt even turn on.
May I suggest getting some gear that isn't crap? Seriously, that stuff was that cheap because it's not very good.
